excruciating pain...

i've never been a huge fan of the winter games...
on the other hand, my bro has never missed the games...
so years of being forced to watch winter sports...
i've sorta grown to like it...
so when all 5 news channel on cable had breaking news in turin...
i knew it had something to do with the 5 time world figure skating champion michelle kwan...
this morning, michelle cut short her training time slot by 15 minutes...
sparking of speculation of her olympic withdrawal...

5 time world champion skater...
and never ever once gotten an olympic gold...
closest ever was a bronze in 1998, and a sliver in 2002...
for a winner like her, she was the biggest loser in the olympics...
so this year was her last shot at that elusive gold...

just a few hours earlier...
michelle annonced in a press conference about her inevitable withdrawal...
due to a grion ingury...
all she needed was this last chance...

this is what legends are made off...
michelle kwan's withdrawal the games have dipped to an all time low...
the spot light has ended for a skating legend...
thats the beauty about the olympics...
the insanity of having to wait another 4 years for that gold...
the games do not age...
but the players do...
i guess thats what life is all about...
the insanity of waiting and the excruciating pain of failing...

talking about excruciating pain...
i decided to attempt the impossible...
do the unthinkable...
and reach for the unreachable...

sunday times lifestyle section's weekend puzzles...
it has always been an eyesore...
occupying 1/3 of the page...
with its hideous text fonts and its oh so american puzzle humor...
i decieded then and there i was not goign to let the weekend puzzle get in the way of making full use of the 85 cents...
guess what...
impossible was actually possible...
i thought about it...
and its rather reachable...
so there you have...
just do it once and for all...
and you'll never ever be bothered by it...
ever...
again...

hmmmmm...
wonder what's gonna occupy that section next week...
dang!!!!!
