la dolce vita...

today has been the epitome of my perfect day...
waking up at 10 for school...
geting out of school by 1...
geting frivalous washing and blowing of hair at kimage...

exploring the city like a tourist...
siting by the steps of the parliament house...
brisk walking through the entire esplanade...
getting creative at the arts house..
feeling patriotically poetic at the war memorial...
laughing at tourist for gawking at a mythical creature, spewing dirty water recycled from the quay...

wind in my hair, the soft afternoon sun on my face...
sipping on godiva's chocolixir dark chocolate decadance...
with the soundtrack of la dolce vita playing in my head/ ipod...

walking to arab street, along the christmas lit roads...
only to be greeted by a modern oriental lifestlye shop clearance sale...
stocking up frenzy for chinese new year's deco...
retreating to a quiet dinner on haji lane with germaine at altazaaq...
finishing our night with a fremantle-isque fragato at kaki 5...

an inspiration from someone who said...
everytime you think you might be bored of singapore...
take a lil time off to be a tourist...
maybe it was the weather, or maybe it was the chocolate...
but singapore never looked this beautiful under the evening glow...

it was nice being alone in the city...
but sometimes you just want someone to be there...
not to talk...
just to feel..

feels like i flew to vietnam and bought all this shit back...
an amazing total of 280 bucks...
2 gigantic huge centre piece red plates: $110
6 silk flower tealight lamps: $100
9 silk organza embroided pillow covers: $60
3 assortment of serving dish: $15

p.s was at kimage WITH khai...
spent 2 flipping hours doing her hair...
and i was piss bored...
hence the washing of hair...

i never want to wash my hair myself again!
an hour of head massages...
why wash my own hair when i can pay someone else to do it...
yes after that amount of pampering, self-discipline and respect gets flushed down the toilet just like *snap*...
