and by ice skating i mean...
pointing and laughing at little girls in their neon coloured tutu...
pointing and laughing at ah bengs zipping around in their hockey skates...
pointing and laughing at people falling on their arses...
pointing and laughing at grown adults making a fool of themselves...
oh yea...and to celebrate paris' birthday...
the ice skating ring is such a feel good place...
and we figured why figure skaters choose black tutu...
because its slimming and hides their chunky thighs....
the novelty of ice skating in singapore wears of after approximately 45 mins on ice...
when the pain of your squished up toes and possibilty of coliding in to a kid holding on to one of those metal guide poles thingy sets in...
anyway...
while i was fiting into my banged up bleeding skates...
the announcer announced that there will be a lucky draw for a pair disney on ice...
and as usual...
being the cynical yuran that i am...
i made a snipe remark about how anyone would seriously want to go to such a hideously cheorographed mass packaged family feel good show where they mutilate any sort of pleasant memories that i might have of disney and fuelign my nightmares with adults in cartoon suits skating around and making a living out of it...
i looked at germ and as soon as she wanted to check her ticket...
i snaped at her...
and across the hall she screams out...
"YURAN YOU WON THE TICKETS!!!!"

what the hell...
i have never won anything in my life before...
seriously...
in birthday parties...
i couldn't even win any of the 5 candy present in a 8 kiddies party...
i've always thought that when i actuly won somethign it'll be like a car? a condo?
oh i don't know... a million bucks!?!?!?
not some loser-ish disney on ice front row premiere tickets...
what are the chances when the whole ice skating rink is filled with kids....
it was damn packed...
which brings me to another point...
don't these kids have school or something?
its a bloody wednesday afternoon...
and parents are bringing their whinny bratty 10 year olds to ice skates...
and way....
i'm psyced....
i get to wear my mickey mouse tee shirt....
without feeling stupid...
or giodarno-ish...
let the mutilation of my favourite disney characters begin...
