every once in a year, the oscar is presented to outstanding performance in the arts...
for an actor to win an oscar, from then on, he/she will be formally known as oscar winner.......
the oscars is the combination of milan, new york, paris and london fashion week...
haute couture no less...
the oscars is all about waking up at 8 in the morning to catch the pre show ceremony...

for me the oscars...
the only day my parents agree to let me stay at home...
no school, no tuition, no cca...just for 1 day...
i've been watching the oscars since i was 9?
so this marks the 10th year the oscars has been in my life...

whats oscars without the red carpet?
for an whole hour at 8am...
there are live coverage on the red carpet, fashion hits and misses...

i think the person who looked the best, was none other than jessica alba...
she wore a beaded gold versace gown that looked like liquid honey on her...

when felicity huffman stepped out from her limousine...
there were a collective gasp...
she wore a dramatic zac posen black gown...
plunging V neck, sheer panels on the side...

Keira Knightley wore a striking wine-colored, one-shoulder gown by Vera Wang...
classic 1950s screen siren, the dress complimated keira's youth...

with the departure of jennifer and brad...
the title of oscar's golden couple had to go to Michelle Williams and heath ledger...
Michelle Williams was in a marigold yellow chiffon gown...
tulle pleats surrounding the V neck...
her arm was Heath Ledger in a classic bow-tie tuxedo, down to the white pocketsquare...

jon steward managed to capitivate the audience with his tongue and cheek humour...
however everythime i laughed at his jokes...
i can't help but think that i was watching the daily show with jon steward instead of the oscars...

jon started the awards with...
"ladies, gentlemen, felicity.... good evening..."

when george clooney won his award for best supporting actor in syriana...
he said....
"well this means you guys are not giving me the best director then huh."

best actory has aways been a toss up between heath and joaquim...
however it was phillip seymore who stole the little gold man right under their noses....

while jennifer garner was walkign down to the mic to present an award...
she stepped on her beaded maternity gown...
sipped and skidded two steps forward..
before managing to balance herself...
and she reovered by saying...
"see i told you, i do my own stunts!"

another shocker was the best pictures award...
crash beat brokeback mountain and capote to win the oscar...
you could see the shock and suprise in their faces when jack nickloson announced the winner...
everyone in the audience was in disbelieve...
brokeback mountain was touted to win it...
and everyone wanted it to win...
well...
if there wern't drama...
it wouldn't be called the oscars would it...
