XOXO

To Miss Germaine Tay Hui Lin,

RE: Open email response.

Firstly, the email you sent me was mayjah long, so I decided that since you’re that bored to type me that big arse email, I’ll get my lazy puggy little fingers and finally blog killing two birds with one stone. I have missed you a lot, so much that the first few weeks in Paris alone were like Carrie in the final episode of Sex and the city. Paris was not kind to me at all; it was cold, harsh, brutal and most of all no you or any friends in it. There are only so many museums, monuments, streets and cafes, so I have pretty much done everything twice. There were many times I wanted to take the first flight home because I was so home sick and I desperately needed chicken rice. I persevered and made new friends along the way, we’ve been hanging out all over Paris ever since.

Being away from home has given me that distance and time I need to sort of re-evaluate my life and the different directions I need to take. I have been keeping a written journal of my random thoughts and I think it has helped me a lot to find what I lost along the way.

Tammi is here with me right now in Paris and we are having the time of our lives. And instead of ripping each other’s hair out we’re actually moisturizing it. Tammi has been great fun and she has totally got my back. Once when we were totally stuck 3 am in the butt crack of Paris with no signs of night busses and not wanting to pay 40 euros for a cab back to my apartment and me freaking out as usual, she totally calmed me down and got my melodramatic arse back home safely! Having tammi here reminds me of what I miss back home. We just got back from Disneyland and we both know for a fact that we are never ever going to have children ever in the future.

So to answer some of your questions.

1. What is your best buy? (other than pretty MJ bag)

That marc Jacobs bag is pretty much my biggest splurge, I think I dropped at least a grand-ish in various marc jacobs but tons of shit which I doubt I’d ever need, its preeeety! There’s marc Jacobs emblazoned across on practically every single piece! Don’t judge me, pretty things distract and impair my judgment.

.
2. What is the biggest drama you've encountered?

My friend from S’pore Trina just recently graduated from her semester in Parson’s Paris, so after the final parson’s fashion show a whole bunch of us went out to grab dinner (Japonais) and after we bought cheap 1 Euro wines and drank ourselves silly at one of our friends place, went out to club only to get blocked because half of the group that went first got denied entry because a jackass tried to get in by using someone elses name. The thing about Paris’ clubs is that if you look good they’ll let you in, so a group of us that came later got let in, but since it was a group thing we decided not to club after all instead to chill out at some other friend’s house and by chilling I mean getting blazed and hard-assed stoned and drunk. The house party was briefly interrupted by police but the party went on. The only thing I remembered about the whole night was being very very drunk, and possibly high on substances I should not blog about and everything was in stop motion camera lenses. Woke up the next day not knowing where the fuck I was and with vomit on pants, tee and hair. Think my 20th birthday except uglier and in Paris.

3. Best experience?

Read above mention...

The intellectual part of me would say Versailles, the Sun Palace home to Louis the 14th to !6th before the French revolution started and shat all over it. But I really want to say Disney-fucking-land!!! It was mad wicked!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me and tam pushed and shoved our way through those little effers and manage to do all the attractions.

4. Best sight seen?

The queens Hamlet, Queen Marie Antoinette got bored of palace life and all it’s formalities so she decided to live as a peasant. A whole village was built within the palace compound. And when you enter the village it’s as if you stepped into a fairytale, the picket fences, chimney topped houses, and Rolling Meadows. Everything looked like a Hans Christen Anderson Hollywood set, completely mind blowing! But when you look into these peasant houses, you’d notice everything was set in marble and gilded!!! So fucking awesome!!!! Me LIKEY!!!

5. When are you coming back?

NEEEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRRRR!!!!!

6. Coolest person met?

What the hell are you talking about!!! I’m the coolest god-damn person in the world BITCHESSSSSS!!!!!

This is me miss you a lot and hoping you were here! I love you and please stay the same! Fat or thin I will still love you!!! This is my big fat blog entry dedicated to you love…

You know you love me…
From paris with love,

XOXO
